Vann's Fanns

Has everyone experienced the great level of service from Vann's that I have, or have I just been lucky for once in my life. If all companies took a lesson from this retailer, the world would be a much better place. I am looking forward to doing all my future "on line" purchases with Vann's.

Hi Joe,

Almost every company has its quirks. I do like to shop at Vanns. Only if they could do a little better on their price matching policy for me. But other than that, they're not bad.

Howdy, I shipped two TVs to my Mom and brother for Christmas they are in Missouri and I didnt wait till last minute (ordered on 12th) they got there in 6 days and in perfect condition! It did take a while to get my tracking info... otherwise a great exchange!

Joe, I appreciate your kind comments. We try hard. As pointed out, we're certainly far from perfect, but we constantly strive to provide a consistent customer experience. We have some very engaging new functionality coming that will solve the tracking and delivery comments I have been noticing. It is the top priority for the first couple of months in 2009. We love our customers.

Joe, you have just been lucky. I certainly haven't had such good luck with Vanns. Not sure if I will ever do business with them again. I thought they were different, but it seems they are just like all the other "rip-off" vendors of electronics on the web.

On your other post, it looks to me like it was pretty clearly explained that you did get the promotional price and that you chose to pay a higher price because of their high rating, what changed after you placed your order to make you feel ripped off?

I am from Montana however don't live there anymore. I can say when I did live there I bought all of my equipment from them. And today I am redoing my home theater which i will order everything through them. They are very helpful and the customer service has always been A+.

I had my first experience with Vann's this week. Overall, I was very pleased with the Vann's service.

I purchased 5 speakers that were at a great price. Unfortunately, one of the speakers arrived defective (something in the speaker was loose, as could be felt/heard by rotating the speaker slowly), and Vanns had no more of the same color in stock. After discussing a few options, I decided to return/RMA the entire order. I do feel bad about the speakers not working for me as I was excited about the better sound, but the experience with Vann's customer service definitely will make Vanns.com a future destination for my "toy" shopping.
