Hey everyone, are there any trains(passenger or freight) that go by Missoula?

Yes, there are. There are many freight trains that pass through Missoula. The nearest passenger train goes through Whitefish, Montana which is about 3 hours away.

Ahh...I know Whitefish. Isn't that Maria's Pass? Microsoft did a beautiful job on their train simulator. The routes were covered from Shelby, Cut Bank, Kalispell, Whitefish and everything else in between. I bet the area is gorgeous with BNSF running around. In Maine, we don't have such a gorgeous landscape. We have "Guilford" trains in their Black w/Orange stripes as their paint schemes.
